Working on a mural in our kitchen. It’s about a year since I first started, the third time I’ve changed my mind about what I want to paint… hoping to finish this Italian lemon flourish design before babe arrives. 🍋
Sometimes it’s hard, waiting for the creative flow and inspiration. I prefer not to consider “the waiting” as a creative block, but rather shift my perspective to the ebb and flow of creativity. Like the tides, or the seasons…

Here’s the babe, growing like a champ! 6-mo preg

Here’s the babe, growing like a champ! 6-mo preggo and feeling so blessed. Still enjoying swimming and back to afternoon napping. When I’m not working, I’m nesting… but everything is slowing down now and I’m doing my best to honor the pace of this season. Been waking up at 4am several days/week and would love a good book recommendation, maybe a historical fiction or fantasy.

Big changes as I’ve rounded the halfway mark wit

Big changes as I’ve rounded the halfway mark with our growing baby. It’s surreal. I feel so blessed each and every day. I’m working from my home office now and the nesting urge is relentless. I’m gathering the supplies to diy a forest animal baby mobile with the kids and to create a fiber weaving for the wall in my office/nursery. Going to prenatal swimming classes and learning about the stages of labor. Nourishing my growing babe and I with nutritious food and basking in the feel-good hormones of the second trimester. All the while watching the boys grow up day-by-day… I’m filled with awe and wonder for this whole motherhood experience. Thank you God for this marvelous gift and for surrounding me with the support of family & friends.
